so i've been reading news articles, and these i find interesting.
Prostitutes make good carers for the elderly. from johns to geriatrics, it says! it's certainly a novel idea. one that i would never have thought of. it offers an alternative lifestyle for prostitutes, increases the number of carers (apparantly with a lot of experience *shrug* who'd known?!) and there must be a down side to this. i dunno why this article left a "good" feeling in me. perhaps it is the thought that people who are forced to make a living selling their bodies might have a way out? this scheme is funded by the government as well! one thing is for sure, the elderly, esp the men i suppose, are rejoicing! haha.

CANBERRA (Reuters) - A drunk driver just 100 metres from Australia's iconic giant monolith once known as Ayers Rock has stopped police to ask the way to the 345-metre-high (1,100-ft-high) rock.
The headlights of the man's car were actually shining on Uluru, which has a 9.4-km (5.8-mile) circumference, Northern Territory police said. The 44-year-old man, whose car was also towing an aluminium boat, has been charged with drink driving and unlicensed driving.
