first off Mr C T Tay. he's a really warm and friendly bus driver who drives bus number 75. why? cos he greets every single one of his passengers when they come on board his bus! he goes morning or ni hao (how do you do in mandarin) to everyone! i was so disalarmed when i came on board, and i just had to smile and said morning to him too! it was seriously heartwarming.. and i think most of the commuters thought so too! almost everyone that came on the bus was smiling after they heard his greeting! it's so wonderful.. and no doubt rare to see that on the bus!
2ndly... Mr MH Tan (not sure abt the surname though) who drove bus number 77 today. it was pouring today and bus 77 was behind bus 7. most bus drivers would have just opened the bus door even if it wasn't at the bus stop yet, so he can get on his way. but this bus driver actually waited for bus 7 to go off, drove into the bus bay so that his passengers wouldn't get wet (well not SO wet). i dunno why, but i was really touched by his actions.
not to mention all the bus drivers who politely give directions to pple who enter the bus, only to ask if this bus goes wherever.. if so, where do they get off and how to walk from the bustop to point A; and if not, what bus they can take... with infinite patience.
i think it's a tiring job driving pple here and there and it can get quite mundane. i think some bus drivers react by erm.. driving recklessly and braking suddenly! it's insane man sometimes.
but hey... thumbs up to these drivers who really make an effort to improve your time on board a bus!
