3 days ago at CG, i was at hilda's place.. (yes jov, you remember hilda hu?) she said she had read my blog and read that i had a new dog called kip... and that his old name was kiki... she put 2 and 2 together and realised.. HEY... her family was the family that was taking care of kip after the 2 owners... before he was taken to our house! what a small world!
2 days ago.. Vong came over for dinner... he's a scottish born vietnamese guy from english ministry at the chinese church... and a real joker too... here he was complaining that no one could take him seriously on april fools! made bak ku teh with rice... twas quite a nice dinner and we had a real good chat about life and God and other odd and random things... definitely a wonderful dinner with wonderful company!:)
the leftover rice went to a lovely fried rice with taiwanese sausage, chinese mushrooms, onions and eggs the next night... that was quite nice too.. it's the 1st time i've ever cooked fried rice in glasgow! hee... i thought it wasn't half bad!
tonight's dinner was chicken enchiladas... with Tou Pin for company... a very different mood from dinner with Vong... but still very enjoyable.. talked about our mutual friends... and our plans for the future... the latest advances in cancer drugs (he's doing an intercalated degree in cancer studies).. what an intercalated year involves...plus showed him photos of munich, salzburg and amsterdam and of course pictures from home...
he saw so many council pictures... of the room.. of the pple.. he was like.. wah you're really into your council ah... haha.. but of course! altogether now... 21st!:)
what a week it's been... still haven't finished family project essay but half way there already! but having said that i don't regret having dinner with either of them... cos it was relaxing... fun... just the way a holiday should be!:)
tmr... better hit the books... AGAIN... sian 1/2....
