man.. just read an article abt police officers dedicated to rescuing victims of child porn... it's very sobering to read.. and so sad that children's lives are destroyed by sick sick people who obviously need help... reminds me of the episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit... this epi where this guy was taking picture of his own child to put on his child porn site.. that just makes me plain sick man... to rob innocent children of their childhood... it so nauseating that people would do that....

the week hasn't been so bad so far (who am i trying to kid?!)

Tues had PBL.. then went for ommena's bday party at night....

Wed had labs from 9-1330.... i left early... thank goodness the 2nd part was figuring out some calculations... so that wasn't so bad... you finish.. they give you an answer sheet... and then you zao... like primary sch like that haha...

CG was v good that night.. with Louisa (Lucas' Sis) and P (alfred's flatmate) coming to join us... and i think Louisa will be joining my CG from now on! Yay!:)

And Ash volunteered to pick us up from the airport when we head back from Rome if we really can't find a way to get home... shall have to be thick-skinned and ask for lifts... but who?!

today's clinical practice session was good... got Dr Muir again.. he's an SpR in... something lah.. but he's a real good teacher... always v patient... explains things to us... and asks us to relate the examination to pathology (which you don't get a lot of in class)

something damn funny happened though... he was going over how to use urine dip sticks... and he gave us 2 samples... guess who was the lucky gal who got to dip... me lah of course... sian 1/2... but never mind... i gloved up and stuck the dipstick in the 1st vial of urine.... WAH LAU... for some reason it was slimy!!! you know how you eat pizza and the cheese stretches... well the urine did that.. uber weird!

i just went.... "NIIIIICCCCEEEE" and Dr Muir.... started laughing at me.

but hey his laughter was damn infectious.. and soon all of us were laughing with him....

guess what. the urine was his. hee hee. and in case you were wondering.. his urine was normal...

anyway... if you've noticed.. that's 2 nights down and still no time to do PBL... i'm basically doomed lah... cos i have to pia the whole PBl by tonight... not small pbl somemore lor...

have decided to close maxthon...(obviously blogging here 1st)... go offline on MSN...

and yes it's still an ice cream and cake party... and yes you can bring ice cream and cake!:)

i still have 10 tubs of Mackie's ice cream sitting in my freezer.... eh.... but got no cake leh.... sigh.. buy on sat itself or something... hopefully can get some decent ones... maybe from Sainsbury's or something like that!

but in the mean time... the liver calleth.. and we all know when nature calleth.... thou shalt answereth...
