OH MY GOSH!!! i haven't blogged since the 2nd?! well the last week of school was REALLY REALLY hectic!

was driving myself mad trying to:
A) Do PBL
B) Do coursework
C) PACK

yep.. was clocking 4 hours of sleep a night... not very good at all.. it was no wonder that i fell ill by the end of the week.. with a bad sore throat and a cold at that!:( and to think i was to fly off to munich and salzburg (pics will be up soon!) where it was WAY colder!

anyhow.. after a very very quick 20min PBL feedback (c'mon.. it was so near the Christmas hols everyone wanted to go home!) i had time to dash home for a shower..

as i was drying my hair.. lyndsey buzzed me on MSN to say... the SSMs are out! AHHH!! SSMs are special study modules that you're doing for the 2nd half of next term... (just booked mine... ok so aaron helped me book my module.. THANKS SWEETIE!! Hope france is lovely!!! *BIG ginormous wave*) the modile i selected eventually was physiology of motor control.. hope it'll be good... and hope i'll get some revision done as well....

anyway i rushed to have a quick glance at the modules and kept the ones that i wanted in my head... then packed up and dashed off to auntie pat's (mum's uni friend's) house... she made some pasta then her son took me to the airport...

arrived at london stansted airport and stayed at a nearby hotel overnight... set me back 70 quid man!

woke up at like 430 the next morning to catch the flight to munich.. was delayed by bad weather unfortunately ....

but fortunately when i got there.. it meant that i didn't have to wait too long for my folks.. and luckily.. we were arriving in the same gate... just a few flights between us!:)

so happy to see my folks.... and i've never seen my bro dressed so smartly! that's only cos he had to wear a long sleeve shirt and a sweater... so formal! haha

took a train to haufbanhoft (the central train station in munich) and then had loads of trouble finding the hotel.. we even called the hotel but the guy didn't direct us very well.. well we managed to get there.. but the room was TINY... only 1 person could walk through the corridor at one time!

then headed out to see the sights.. it was LOVELY... but FREEZING!! it was a projected -10 degrees i believe...

the Christkindel Markt was BEAUTIFUL... basically that's the Christmas market... loads of stalls in open space.. and all seeling handmade christmas stuff... nativity sets etc etc.....

hmmm.. saw LOADS of churches in munich... the Residenz (residence of the emporer).. Schloss Nymphenburg (Schloss = castle)....

absolutely breathtaking... but erm.. COLD....

will write more when i post the pics!

in salzburg strangely enough i felt warmer! (the projected temp was -12 you see)

went on the sound of music tour haha.. it was really nice though.. cos we got to see the countryside.. once again... more pictures await you!

the churches were very elaborate as well.. but the Chirstkindl Markt was SO much better than munich! more variety.. and cheaper as well! absolutely beautiful!

Sigh... it was wonderful.. wish we could stay longer at both places though.. so much more we didn't see cos of the time limit.....

oh well... now arrived in london and at my mum's cousin's place...

BTW.. almost forgot to mention the food... NICE... different.. and well... LARGE PORTIONS!! couldn't finish the food most of the time...once again... PICTURES SOON!!!

ok... will be in london for the next few days and back to glasgow on the 20th....

bleah... really tired today... and due for a shower...
