BLOCK BREAK WEEKEND! for once i've been busy having fun and lazing ard!:)
friday night was guy falkes night! took some videos of the fireworks.. i can try to capture frames and then post the pics online... headed to mussel inn for dinner afer that... at like 10 +! but the manager was gracious enough to let us in to have a meal! that's some place i'll definitely bring my folks to... they'll be spending 2-3 days in glasgow... will bring them to town to go wetherspoons to have some haggis and then to mussel inn for dinner!
sat ws lazing ard day.. i woke up at 1210.. headed down to town to meet aaron then went shopping! scouting out clothes that i can buy on boxing day!:) then had a nice lasgna dinner!:)
then at night.. max called me up.... "eh, you want to go stirling?" I was like HUH?! erm why not?
haha so off we went on a sunday to stirling! the whole town is old school man.. old buildings... cobblestone paths! but damn boring after a while.. nothing much to see... stirling castle... that's pretty much it really... but nice scenery though...
we also snuck into the old town jail at max's behest! he was like.. never mind lah... just go! hahah.. so we went from the back of the exhibition to the front since the tour was going from the front to the back!so sneaky right! anyway... i think the owner of the place gave us the evil eye on the way out haha....
stirling castle was nice though... the old building.. the scenery... then there was the argyll & sutherland (princess louise's) highlanders museum too! qutie interesting... and the taspestry work is LOVELY as well!:) the funny line of the moment from Mr Maxworth Hu himself....
"every hole must explore" tee hee hee... so cheeky lah max haha....
then headed to argyll's lodging.. nothing much lah.. just a house for impt pple.. the loo damn posh man.... it was cushioned all over!:) max said we have to be careful not to piss on the cushion.. not that we attempted to use the loo!
then headed back and went to wetherspoons for dinner... cos aaron never ate haggis before...
now monday has come and with it.. block 8 & all it's challenges! at least this week it's pure lectures... called the framework week... to give us the erm... framework of the neurology we have to know....
PHEW! this weekend really blew my mind.. i still find it quite surreal that i went out of glasgow...
hope max's next planned trip will be a good one..
there's actually a trip to isle of skye organised by the international society... then aaron wants to go inverness... but erm.. i think he wants to go there with his mum... which probably means i'll never get to see inverness... hmm... macbeth and all that.... *shrug*
