started out with running in the morning.... but only managed 20 min before aaron popped by to play badminton.... had a real good workout with that man... played for abt an hour till it started raining... then took a shower and started tweaking with some comp stuff.....
before long lunch was ready and we headed down to have some chow.... haven't had a home cooked lunch in ages.. so that was nice...
headed up to continue with the comp tweaking... and well.. i FINALLY managed to start on my amsterdam scrap book... finished day 1 already.... and have selected the photos to go with it too! :) hope to complete it before i leave!
left after that to head to town... went to isetan to get kids chopsticks... and aaron wanted to get cotton buds with erm ear wax scoopers on one end for a friend... weird.... *shrug*
they were having a food fair there... from a fishing village apparantly... so loads of seafood... tried some... pretty good stuff.. but damn ex..... BUT BUT BUT... there was sushi there.. and you know i can't resist jap food so a got a california hand roll and tamago! then as we were heading to tangs to check if THEY had any kids chopsticks... we passed by a bakery sun moulin... saw nice food.. and erm... bought MORE food.. then we headed to tangs... ate the stuff.. and erm... guess what... saw egg tarts... HAD to buy one to eat haha....
so tangs didn't have any kids chopsticks so we headed back to isetan to get them.... here's the dilemma.. supposed to buy for one boy and one girl... BUT the cheap ones were only pink in colour.. so i got them anyway.. cos i texted my cousin in m'sia but she didn't reply me until late at night... so i have to exchange them tmr....
then headed to the taka post office to cash in aaron's postal order... but taka was closed but they directed us to lucky plaza... after doing that... i headed off to bugis junction (yes again.) to meet with some 21st..
On that note.. i really have to thank.... bert, kai, enz, ana, jia, lucas, andre, hanting, yingren.. they've really made tonight real lovely, wonderful and memorable... just like them! almost everyone had their jokes...
the worse was lucas (then again with the council boys.. they're probably all equally bad.. just so happened i was sitting next to lucas so tough luck.. the spotlight's on him).. let me count the ways...
for one he kept insisting on his good looks....
but having said that there were some damn funny moments... like when he and jia kept pushing the food to each other (basically we ordered 2 sets of 3 different dishes but they mixed it up and only gave us one set of each dish) cos they both too paiseh to start.. so ended up erm.. feeding lucas haha... i was like... the choo choo train is coming... open up... can't believe he actually ate though haha.... his black olive rice was pretty good though... yum yum...
then the jokes started when lucas once again declared he was handsome... and when i asked him to announce to the whole table.. he instead said... pointing to both of us... "we're getting married tmr" RIGHT....
to which enz replied... you can't... you're married to me and i have half your assets!
lucas later said that i have to marry him for his good looks and not his money cos enz has all of it
RIGHT.
so many many jokes were said... any more contributions? i think jia was damn unlucky to be sitting opposite me..kept laughing at me cos i was being silly
just thought of one more... hanting thought the name of the place was siam PIEGEON... wah lau..
and when hanting (who had eaten already) came... i asked him to see if he wanted to order any desserts.. which was at the back of the menu... i kept going.. turn to the back turn to the back!
then lucas had to butt in and say.. you think he's retarded is it?
to which i replied... well he's holding the menu upside down.. so i guess...
lucas was like... haiyah try to save you also cannot save you.....
ana's cleo mag had this book review on The Vulva, Vestibule and Vagina.. and she was very amused when i said... let me have a look... i'm a doctor....
eh.. i'm not sex crazed ok... haha
there were really so many funny moments that you had to be there to appreciate... sigh... oh well.. i'm getting sleepy and can't remember most of them.. hope they come back to me...
