sat was a go go go kinda day.. you don't really stop to rest!
got woken up in the morning to send the GUSS shirts off to glasgow.... then headed to jurong west for lunch...
picked my bro up and dropped him at home for lunch.. then headed out again to do some good old fashioned NTUC shopping... then came home and started preparing for Grandma's 91st bday party at my place... STEAMBOAT BABY!:)
yay! glad i got to have some steamboat.... missed it during CNY this year....
was really great fun seeing everyone all over again.. the ENTIRE family made it this time (even from m'sia!)... so much so that dad commented we have to get a bigger table soon!:)
spent some time with ethan and olivia (tania's kids)... the little chatterboxes.. was quite fun to watch them HAVING fun haha... then remembered the days that me and my bro used to have so much fun together... now we're both so busy.... :(
took loads of pictures but for some reason i was very unsteady last night... when i took pics today... they were fine!
will really miss them when i'm away... it's REALLY rare to see everyone together.. and i'm glad to have seen everyone JUST before i leave....
today was slightly slower... cos well... we were all tired after last night.....
am supposed to leave notes for marc to lead youth grp next week.. better do that and send and print photos! or pple will be bugging me forever! haha...
mum collected her new car today... except when she brought it home.....
1. the car can't be locked by remote control...
2. there are no reverse sensors
erm... mum's annoyed haha...
had damn good food for lunch and dinner.. my beef hor fun from ghim moh for lunch.. and erm some pizza hut haha... and for dinner... tau kwa pao.... nor hiang and fishballs... and SUSHI!
there's also bah zhang waiting for me in the fridge....
folks aren't too keen on me on getting a UK licence.. they believe it has no use... since i won't be getting a car.. well i suppose that's rather true... but i'd still rather have a UK driver's licence.. just in case... and plus they return my s'pore driver's licence to s'pore so i can still keep that...
plus they think i'll be back after 5 yrs of med sch.. i was like.. no.. i'll go mad if i come back to be trained in s'pore....
i think they got the point. am quite indignant that they don't want me to have a licence. :(
dad and bro are coming over to visit me for christmas.. then we'll head home together... well.. that's the plan... we'll travel in the UK then to germany... heard the christmas markets there are great.. speaking of which i should send some emails to a few friends to see what they recommend i see in germany!:)
