what a splendid day! and no i'm not actually being sarcastic!
today was family service at church... that means the kids dont' get to go to sunday sch.. so the sermon had to be kid-friendly as well....
the kids were so adorable.. when the vicar asked a question.. you get the funniest answers! it's like "kids say the darnest things" the st g's version!:)
Vicar (V): what is sackcloth?
Kid (K): it's the thing that makes you really itchy
haha.. oh well... not your typical answer....
the sermon was abt stepping up to serve God and not to fear His plans and run away from Him.. easier said than done sometimes... but we all have to try...
had a nice communal lunch at macpherson food centre.. had wu xiang, fishball mee poh and my char siew fan! haha... yeah the plates literally rotated round the table.. then had ice kachang (the pink part's my fav!) and lime aloe vera juice.... overall... YUM!!!:)
before that we went to look at the Mazda 2.. no the car's not for me.. haha.. even I myself don't trust myself with a car (so much for self confidence)... mum's car is reaching the 5-year mark.. after which.. the car has no value... and you'll make a huge loss trying to trade it in... so sad.. the car works rather well.. i'm quite sure someone in a 3rd world country wouldn't mind getting a car like that for a low price....
bad bad experience at mazda trying to park...
1. the guy parked next to me had his car SLANTED...
2. the lot was very narrow
3. there was a dumb ass guy trying to direct me to park.. but nearly caused me to scratch the other car
4. EVERYONE (staff and customers alike) were staring at me...
&%*%#$ was damn annoyed..... and embarrassed...
after lunch went to see chervolet aveo... honda jazz... then we went to this parallel importer... and strangely enough it sold all the cars for a higher price... WEIRD....
then went home... and guess what i had to stop on my slope cos WHY.. MY FREAKING DOG WON'T MOVE.. was so freaked out that i would run her over.. then mum was so pissy cos she thought that the gate was going to hit the bumper of the car... haiyah...
then picked marc up from changi... drove there.. super far.. good driving experience though... haha.... was talking to dad.. and how sometimes we can't talk to parents.... he said.. just make sure that it's not that way for your kids...
think aaron didn't make THAT good an impression on my dad... but quite a good on on my mum cos now my mum seems to bring him up pretty often.. what with his cooking skills and all... haha...
then was watching the nat day rally tonight.. until i couldn't take it cos well.. after the 3rd hour i gave up went to shower and sleep....
haha so here i am... blogging away... splendid day indeed... making nev agree to go to driving sch would be a great finale!:) *hint hint*
