all i can say is thank you. esp to those i meet over the weekend... whether you know it or not... i'm crawling out of my funk.... all thanks to you...

on thurs night.. though i was feeling in the pits.. met up with hh and jov, roy and caroline for steamboat at marina... enjoyed myself immensely.. but that night it seemed like there was really too much to handle... roy's talk abt killing prawns.. hh the floating hippo.. haha the men really got it that night... meanies.. but hey you know what they say abt men.. can't live with them.. can't live w/out them... to both couples i wish you the best in your relationship

friday night met up with aaron... and erm even met his mum... haha... in all weirdness as i entered his house i was still on the phone so was trying to wave to his mum and talk to one of my friends at the same time... but still.. you really made the world seem alright again.. thank you...

sat was fun man... in the morning had GUSS predeparture fair organised by the british council... seems like we're having quite a wide variety of students coming over... architecture... vet science... biological science (yes the stalker is coming to glasgow).. mech engineering.. and ONLY ONE MEDIC showed up.. oh well.. haha.. at least there was a variety... should be an interesting batch next year....

met karen at marina mandarin where the fair was after she finished watching private parts at the esplanade.... then she and andrew went and ate free food courtesy of the british council haha... heck lah.. they had extra food anyway...

at night had 3J gathering... MAN... so many memories and so many jokes...

xinyi.. in an effort to call nicholas and dillion... says... DICK.. then we HUH... later she called dill a dickhead... well nick... you're the rest of the dick then....

then we were thinking how to combine chee wei and theodore's name.. i came out with "thech" pronouced thick...

so the plam devised for xy to get sam g jealous would be to say she's hanging out with a guy called... thick dick... MAN ok so it doesn't sound THAT funny now... but really... everyone couldn't stop laughing...

was great catching up and recounting old memories and making new ones.... and of course.... eating.... what's a 3J clique gathering w/out food... mum cooked e fu noodles.. yu chin brought strawberries... raspberries.. DIVINE cherries and nata de co co... YUM!!! theo brought apple strudel.. and the movies we watched after dinner.... chee wei brought chips and hershey's kisses... xinyi brought.... get this... HAM... damn random lor... well and chips as well... THE EXACT SAME KIND AS CW.. wah lau...

watched part of fahrenheit 9/11... interesting but we were dosing off... so we switched to the girl next door... this damn funny movie abt porn stars... haha.... you should really watch it... quite funny... though the guy's speech abt moral fibre... didn't make any sense at all....

today was nice as well.. met with my family for lunch.. drove a bit... to ferry my cousin to my aunt's house... but erm... cannot ride in the car with mum... she's damn scary lor... tell me to look out for this and that and then screams at me when she thinks i'm doing the wrong thing... that's cos she's not in the driver's seat lor.. i mean... she can't see both sides of the car... wah lau.. was damn annoyed man....

tonight went to the padang and sat there with amelia jie and daniel to watch the fireworks... i've never actually seen fireworks live before! haha... yes i know... amelia said i was deprived... haha... oh well... they were really really really so beautiful... and at that moment i felt like a child again... just fascinated by the wonderful colours... in awe of them... i felt really really happy... like i told nev.. i guess when your inner child is happy.. you're happy as well... cos well... aren't we all happy as children.. when the world seemed like our playground... life was so carefree... i just felt at peace at that point in time... like nothing else mattered... just silly charlotte and the pretty colours in the sky... a smile just naturally came to my face throughout the entire display..

went to raffles hotel's ah ting's bakery... had egg and onion prata and chicken curry... shared with dan.. maelia had laksa... was damn good lor.. so good we ended up ordering another prata haha.. ended up at starbucks in the end.... had my usual rhumba frap... yum!

all in all the worst and the best weekend since i've been back... once again... to all those i met.. and to all those the either tagged or smsed your words of concern and encouragement... THANK YOU. i owe you guys.. i really do...
