the day started at 715... my alarm clock was set for.... 645.... meaning.. i slept through my alarm clock and was almost late! lucky dad could fetch me to the MRT so i took that instead and arrived with some time to spare so that i could change etc....
lunch was with amy... real sorry that i didn't have enough time to catch up with her cos well... it was my 1 hour lunch break.. how much can you cover in an hour.. not much i guess...
work was ok... my boss was actually funny in a ha-ha way today.... he casually asked who's taller... me or his secretary... i was like i dunno... we're both wearing heels.. then peggie commented.. no lah evelyn seems taller cos she's *hand gesture for thin*.. i was like.. ok lah i'm fat lah i know :( then sean was like oh gee.. i'm staying out of this....
after that i went in a 2nd time... peggie said i didn't mean anything by the fat comment! haha..i was like... see lah peggie.. going to make me cry then you know.. then my boss said... eh ill incur extra costs for counselling you know haha... then i said... sean, very easy to counsel me.. just put a huge tub of ice cream in front of me and everything will be bright and pretty... then.. he laughed... ok ok.. so he's human... but now at least he seems to be a nicer human though he arrowed me during row call today by saying that we can't use hp at the counter and that rank and file staff should leave their hps in the lockers.. i mean.. WHO would do that lah... what happens if there are emergencieas you have to tend to? GRRRR...oh well *shrug* i guess i deserved that one...
after work went to drop my big bag at mum's office... then mum dropped me at Raffles The Plaza (hotel connected to raffles city) where my aunt picked me up and we headed off to Changi Airport terminal 2 to eat sakae sushi! YUM.. thoroughly enjoyed that!:)
rushed off and was horribly late meeting friends to go chinablack tonight... unfortunately... my niece was acting up so we couldn't finish dinner on time.... chinablack was also jam packed cos of some NTU bash tonight.. so we took a cab to zouk... sounds easy right?! NO WAY... spent so long flagging a taxi that we ended up calling for one!
zouk's music was quite shite i must say :( and it was SUPER packed man.. so much so that the next person is DEFINITELY in contact with you.. so you get to feel numerous asses.. and if you're erm unlucky.. boobs haha... and everyone was sticky from dancing.. not too good a feeling... however the highlights of the evening:
1. seeing the para para pple dance on the platforms....
2. meeting council juniors
3. meeting council seniors
4. meeting primary sch ex-classmate (who came in with a council friend of mine!
5. SAW ENDORPHIN MAN! haha.. yes he was at the club.. and yes karen he was like.. eh you know karen ah.. haha... but yeah.. saw surprised to see him there and happily pointed out gareth and adrian (read no. 3.) to him....
low points:
1.having hot ash flicked from someone's ciggie to me... GROSS
2.rude pple cutting into my circle (how very murder on the dancefloor)
3.squeezed to the point of... near suffocation haha....
oh well.. after that was supposed to take a cab with dex home... but WELL the idiot went to join jerald, jeremy and joanne ong in phuture... which was like even more packed than zouk! anyway went to get a drink with limz at shell near her place.. managed to talk to her for a while with regards to friendship.... that was good end to a lousy day....
sigh... now i sit still sweaty... smelling of smoke and with a persistant ring in my ears.... oh well... time for a shower and bed!:)
