went to 2 food festes today after waking up at a leisurely 1pm... YAY!!!!
went to the thai embassy for the food fair though it was raining loads... but ate some beef kuay teow and nicked a little blachan rice from mr goh.... have to call him that since well.. he's a teacher now... it seems rather fitting... haha....
then we headed over to taka for the food feste there.. WOW there was SO MUCH LOVELY food lor! haha.. was so happy *beams* and they had the lovely gelato from gutherie house! i can guiltily say i bought 2 two flavour cups.. mango/chocolate mint and butterscotch/rum & rasin.... DELIGHTFUL!!! had some ondeh ondeh.. sze chuan soup... so bbqed fish... some glutinous rice dish... yum...
actually bought some tau sar piah for 21st at the chalet.. and a box for work... and 5 lao pou bings for home... but by the time we bought the stuff we were too late to head to sentosa.. so we're bringing it tmr instead....
you must be wondering.. eh even if you woke up at one.. sure have time right? well... we went to watch a movie in btwn the 1st and 2nd rounds at taka fair... haha... king arthur... and yes george.. it was a real joke lor.. haha... i mean erm.. aaron had LOADS of fun making fun of the movie... laughing during the speeches.. the love making scene (erm ok so i laughed at that one too) and the killer line.. when the small boy was wearing the ring ard his neck at the end.. aaron declared... that's frodo.. and his ring... i was like stunned SPEECHLESS man.. and you all knwo how difficult that is for me.. haha.. and then he pointed out that kiera knightley was in fact liv tyler and she was marrying aragon.. and pondered why stone henge was next to the sea... well you'll only get this joke if you watch it.. but well i think this is one joke you'd rather not get cos you have to actually torture yourself by watching the movie...
going to sun tan tmr.. pray that the sun might be out.. it seems to be avoiding us lately...
