did the most pathetic thing today and broke down during my lunch hour... the place has no sense of organisation... no system... plus... the working hours are longer... and i'm supposed to do cashiering.. which i was promised i wasn't supposed to do.. and they're pulling me to work there on saturday (instead of at Children's Centre) and on sat they work till like 4 AT LEAST...
my clinic assistant manager (AM) gave me a very pointless talk...
AM: you wanted a job right?
Me: huh?
AM: as in you want to work right?
Me: erm...yah?
AM: i just don't want you to feel like you're being pushed ard..
Me: but i am what...
AM: did sean ask you whether you wanted to be transferred?
Me: *point blank* no
AM: *changing topic very quickly* i just don't want to you to work here with... a heavy heart...
Me: erm yah
AM: ok you can go off now
Me: *leaves the room more confused than when i went in*
then it happened.... i went for my break and then all of a sudden..i broke down and cried... sigh... kim came in and felt so guilty abt letting me go to women's centre.. it's not her fault lah.... and i don't blame her at all.. she's tired her best for me... and that's all i can ask for... plus she's just joined the company... i don't want her to commit career suicide by standing up to sean for a temp staff that's going to leave in a month's time... she asked if i want to resign... i was like no lah.. plus she needs me to come back to children's centre the week of national day cos tina is taking leave... so i WANT to help her cos kim is such a nice person...
having said that.. the women's centre pple are nice.. but the work is really getting to me i mean i have flashbacks of pple passing me casenotes and urine samples before i go to sleep..i keep hearing the phone ring.. and damnit.. i feel giddy at work as well... not good all round...
but hey met up with my sec 4 classmates today... just karen lee, haoyun and shimin...
we ended up going to soup spoon in raffles city for dinner... twas pretty good mushroom soup it was called velvety mushroom stroganoff was damn good man.. highly recommended..
started talking cock abt life... the latest gossip.. and for some reason weird dreams
Karen lee dreamt that she got her lesbian partner pregnant with detached blue sacs of bananas
they were twins and one banana was growing faster than the other... haha... fyi.. karen is VERY VERY straight...
Shimin dreamt that Dr Octavius transfigured frodo and bilbo baggins into door knob handles and that she was the hero who transfigured them back.. unfortunately.. they hit their heads when they were transfigured back.. leaving a lightening shape scar on each of their foreheads... how abt that?! LOTR, Spidey 2 and HP all in one dream!:)
it felt so good catching up and talking to them... :) i feel so much happier now and hopefully ready to face the next.. thanks guys!:)
PS NEVER drink ANYTHING from Yaba Dooba @ city link... 1st they didn't know how to work the register.. then they took so long to give us our drinks.. then the smoothies were super watery... and shimin's and karen's drinks were of different quality... though they ordered the same thing... and all the drinks were different degrees of bland..... :( bad BAD choice...
