morning had church when we rushed off right after communion to send dad off to the airport.. bro absent through all this.. he was at ubin AGAIN receeing something or other...
then headed to ghim moh when i had hainanese boneless chicken rice.. S$2.30..damn worth it man...
headed home and caught big shot's funeral.. was damn funny man... then slept A LOT till abt 5+ then woke up and started watching love on a diet... that sammi cheng and andy lau fat feste haha... but only could watch half way before we had to leave for aunty mabel's place for dinner...
didn't hear abt why she didn't invite ah ma (my paternal grandma) until just before we left the house..
apparantly during chinese new year she scolded aunty mabel for a lot of things:
A) the pomelo she brought was too dry
B) the fish maw she bought apparantly wasn't fish maw or something
C) she brought the late uncle eric's kids to the CNY party... ah ma was pissed that aunty mabel didn't ask her permission... and even called uncle eric's kids (ok so they're 30) animals!
that's really very bigoted and preposterous... she called ADULTS animals just cos they weren't her own children (they were my grandpa's 1st wife's grandkids)
i'm quite horrified and disgusted... i thought CNY was a time of family reunion and happy greetings.... but yet... she still manages to ruin it all... if pple come and pay their respects to you you don't go and call them animals...
it's sad really. and the saddest thing is i don't think she realises how much she hurts pple every single day of her life... or she does and uses it as a power tool.. to gain attention.. whatever.. it's still unfair and totally unwarranted...
sigh.. it's just... sad.
