friday was a rather fun day.. well i suppose friday brings out the wackiest in everyone!:)

In the afternoon i went over to the eye/ENT counter to return their pencil sharpener... and i was greeted with Indira's "charlotte charlotte! you're action on top"

i was like.. HUH?! *total befuddled look*

to which i replied.. i think my boyfriend will be very happy with that...so erm thanks?!

haha i was shocked lah... i mean what's with that joke! haha

the background story was damn funny lah... one of the ladies at the counter asked indira to put something on the action tray... and asked... indira you know where the action tray is right? then kelly butted in.. yeah indira... action on top! (she meant the top tray of course)

then they both dissolved into giggles.... and then i came by.. oh well...

it may not seem funny now.. but it was DAMN funny then... indira declared that we should all go for a foam party!

then later in the afternoon when things were slow... so i decided to bug aaron... well if you're bored.. you could use some good entertainment... it was going well till my colleagues started scaring poor aaron with the M word... MARRIAGE haha.... cos they were saying how after marriage men:

1. don't take you out or take you on vacation

2. don't carry your things

then they told aaron.. better not be like that... i think he went into a panic moment.. it was amusing trust me.. then suddenly there was this talk of lesbians.. which just served to befuddle him even more.. abt how all the staff were actually lesbians cos we call kim my supervisor jun nan.. and geraldine from IT shuai ge! haha... then after that shuai ge popped down and went.. eh you guys wanna do an item for d&d?!

i was like... HUH.. no lah.. so paiseh... plus i'm not supposed to be there.. if locums go for d&d you're supposed to pay some cash.. so i'm going under kelly the eye nurse's name...

anyhow.. geri said.. haiyah we'll be wearing masks lah.. and it's a bollywood kinda thing... WELL... since kim aisyah and tina were seconded... as a member of the children's centre how could i NOT participate?! haha... sigh... all these lesbians haha....and in case anyone's wondering i'm straight... and michael vartan is still the most gorgeous man in the world... which reminds me.. there might be alias on AXN at 9 tonight! i hope that's true... it's been a long time since i've followed the ever so hot jennifer garner and the dreamy michael vartan.. SIGH... ok now i sound bi... hmph...

met mum for dinner at coca.. thai steamboat.. damn good food man.. wish my stomach was bigger haha.. mum was quite funny that night.. in a haha funny way... she asked.. any discount with a particular credit card... the waiter said.. UOB card.. then mum went... oh well guess dad is paying for dinner haha... tsk tsk saying this the day before dad comes home....

watched unfaithful that night on HBO.. strange that a woman with a loving husband and child.. and a settled life would want to have an affair... and the horrid consequences that came with it.. well you'd never think having a little fun could be so bad... sigh.. i guess it makes you treasure those who have been faithfully loving you all this time.. and not to take them for granted.. though having said that.. i felt that the husband didn't take the wife for granted at all! hmm.. so i guess the moral of the story.. be faithful.. you'll end up hurting a lot more pple than you think if you're not...

sat was CHALET DAY!!! after finishing up clinic.. met aaron for lunch.. went to some jap fast food place called domi kitchen in bugis for lunch... (PS i think it might have given the both of us diarrhoea... but we're not really sure)

anyway chalet was great fun just hanging loose with all the gals! and erm well... aaron haha... yeah well it was fun... learnt PROPER mahjong with the flowers and animals and all!:) thank you tina's bf... peggie... betty and evelyn for all your pointers and for putting up with an ignorant little shit like myself.... *beams*

i seriously think i'm super lucky to be working with this bunch of wonderful pple.. and that our clinic for most of the time.. is like one cosy family... where we bitch abt BMW... bosses (he's the only man in the dept... 'nuff said)... men (bfs/husbands who we love so much but sometimes... in fact quite often.. should really stay far far away lest we stab them with a sharp pointy object ala buffy the vampire slayer...).. and of course work (life's not fun if your don't curse the system at least once a day! :)) it's like coming to another family at work.... all of them are my da jies.. and my mummy lee boon! who i dont' get to see much of lately cos she's on course...

anyway.. sunday was lie in day.. got home at 2+ after all! slept so much.. then woke up in time for lunch and another bout of diarrhoea.. yes you read right... diarrhoea... then had kueh pai ti for lunch.. YUM!!! i love those man... mum says she's making pohpiah for national day.. and since the liao (ingredients lah) is the same... can have kueh pai ti too!:) and aunty swan said she'd bring the famous foung curry puffs from clementi next week! so sweet.. she's getting it cos she asked if i had any special requests.. and after evon from business office gave us curry puffs the other day... i miss those good quality currypuffs man... not that the ones evon gave us weren't nice.. it's just.. not the same.... sigh.. how to lose weight when i'm such a foodie!:(

weight wise i've only managed to lose 2-3kg so far so sad... must aim for mroe weight loss man.. and eat right when i get back to glasgow... fluctuating weight ain't good for your body... hopefully by the end of hols.. it goes low.. and STAYS low....

sidetracking a bit.. it seems like my folks might be coming up in december for a week or 2.. it's the only chance they have left.. cos next year... bro will have a levels and subsequently.. NS... sigh... was actually planning to travel with aaron and his sis... oh well.. guess THAT went out of the window....

monday was a busy busy day... was transferred to women's centre... well you hardly realise time passing.. which i suppose is a good thing... i was so tired by lunch break.. well i slept my lunch break away! so yeah busy busy....

was actually supposed to meet mich karen and elysa for dinner tonight.. RP girls unite! but oh well.. elysa was busy.. another time then girls...

lately i've been feeling real tired and have this perpetual urge to retreat into my own world again... that's why i haven't really bothered to update my blog... oh well.. it's good to type i guess.. i mean you remember the good things AS WELL AS the bad... so in the end.. life ain't too bad after all!:)
