Ahhh... another day.... had lunch with XR today...
Interesting fact 1: did you know that boy got Jerome Fisher (i.e the double degree in UPenn from Wharton business sch and UPenn's engineering sch aka the place TO. DIE. FOR.) but yet he gave it up to do engineering in China?
Interesting fact 2: Did you know PSC scholars that go to China get US$950 A MONTH.. that's the same as US PSC scholars who's cost of living is btw.. MUCH higher... thought UK scholars get more apparantly cos well.... damnit UK pple NEED the money more....
Interesting fact 3: there are only 2 sems in China Unis... each sem is 16 weeks... oh man.. haha... well at least i can see him in the summer hols where i have now bound him to treat me to a meal EVERYTIME he sees me haha...
Interesting fact 4: his acceptance at Qing Hua (in Beijing btw) can only be confirmed abt 2 weeks before departure... that's mad man... how to gather all your stuff in time! haha
after lunch at marche... dragged poor xr ard heeren then paragon to go shopping.. surprisingly i found NOTHING desirable in heeren... that in itself was AMAZING man.. haha... but went onward to paragon.. where i found the place to buy CDs next time... GRAMOPHONE haha.. much cheaper and had all the cds i wanted!:) but at paragon i also found MY BRA....
Ok here's the thing... i only wear this particular type of bra from Marks & Spencer's.. but they always don't have my size.. ok so maybe many women in S'pore have the same size as me... haha erm RIGHT... whatever.. anyway I managed to find ONE bra after searching through 3 (count 'em) THREE...Marks & Spencer's!!! haha...
ahhh.... then went met aaron... then sally! haha that was a delightful meeting.. haha... sally's flying off to indon next week... so there you go.. decided to meet up with some of the 22nd this friday... haha... texted bert and limz to meet up... and bert was like... 'eh are we meeting the whole of the 22nd or what' or something to that effect... he even called me a buddy coordinator... fyi bert dear... your buddy was bitching to me abt how you don't call her to meet up and that you should cos you're the guy haha... well sally like i said.. i have to call XR out as well...
haha... in fact XR had to walk back with sally to meet me after we left XR to go to cineleisure to catch shrek 2.. haha.. after they left us we went into cineleisure to get tix but alas... tix were almost sold out... only had front row seats left.... sigh... since sally earlier recommended PS (plaza singapore [a shopping centre] for those who are reading this from overseas) we headed there.. then guess what... shrek 2 wasn't showing there at all! damn... so we went shopping there instead haha
then we walked towards taka to shop.. aaron stopped me from spending money on more notebooks... i collect them you see...
on the way we stopped at Meridian hotel.. and tried out the food court there.. it's like a Thai foodcourt basically.. but strangely enough we ate from the Korean stall.. hmm weird huh...
bought NOTHING again at Taka... v good stuff....
