Ahhh flatting.... here's the low down on the 2 flats i'm looking at... which should i choose

The one near the med sch off byres road on lawrence street..

Pros:
1.It's near the med sch (2min)
2.The room is an ok size
3.The rent is £220 which is £10 cheaper than the other flat
4.It's off byres road so it's easy to get stuff.. just cos i'm more familiar with the area

Cons:
1.The main door has no lock... it's just a push door but they said they never had any troubles with break ins.. the flat and indiv rooms have a lock though..
2.There's no internet... but it's like 2 min away from the med sch so i'm fine with that
3.They are not sure which furniture is going to stay..and the kitchen stuff as well... but i'll email them abt that
4.They're 5th years next year and they won't be staying on for another year.. dunno if i'll have to flat hunt next year
5.The landlord is changing the electricity to NOT be by card but by billing so they're not sure how much the cost is going to work up to.. will email abt that.. but a heads up.. the min bill is abt £20 each per month and the max is £60 each per month..

Neutral points:
1.The lease starts from sept
2.the place seems cosy enough
3.They seem like quite neat pple...
4.The heating system is some heating storage thing.. so they said you have to know 24hr in advance if you want to heat the place? does that make sense? do you know what that's abt?
5.Like i said previously, living with 2 5 yr med students who seem like nice pple
6.It's not gas central heating.. so i don't know if it'll be expensive cos electricity IS expensive
7.The place is carpeted

The flat at partick..

Pros:
1.The main door is secure... can't remember if the room has a lock though
2.The girl is a 2nd year med student and will be staying in the flat for a long time more since she owns the flat
3.All the furniture is hers so it'll all remain there so i know what's coming
4.Gas central heating.. less complicated heating method haha
5.The bills are abt £10 per month
6.It's near the Partick undergroud
7.It's near the Partick Safeway and Sainsbury's

Cons:
1.It's further away from med sch
2.The rent is £230

Neutral Points:
1.She seems rather neat
2.The place seems rather cosy
3.she seems like quite a nice person
4.The lease starts in June.
5.The place is carpeted

Sigh... that's what i think of the 2 flats..

in other news.. it started hailing the other day... STRANGE man.. in spring?! haha oh well i guess that's glasgow weather for you...

It was ramesh's bday on friday.. poor boy said he'll celebrate after the exams haha... but hey.. we gave him a slice of walnut pie.. and he hasn't stopped thanking me since haha.. good lah... so high in sugar i get a sugar high after eating it!

Heard Raffles Move and Groove was rather dismal.. but the company made up for it.. haha.. oh well i guess seeing old friends is always a plus...

It was Wenz's bday on sat.. forgot to call him so i left him a voice msg.. hope he got it man...

The weather was exceptionally warm today.. but on the way home it started raining.. but there was a lot of humidity abt... just like home haha... oh well...

Strangely i thought of how my home phone sounds when it rings the other day.. weird.. i think i'm thinking of home more and more.. oh well...

1.5 months to home
