Just wanted to wish you all GONG XI FA CAI... WAN SHI RU YI... XIN XIANG SHI CHENG... SHEN TI JIAN KANG... XUE YE JING BU (but i know most of you don't need the last one haha)
Had 1st round of CNY dinner last night.. pot luck! what's new right? haha... the food was good... weiyao bought roast duck! Karl bought fruit juice... Ting cooked spinach... max cooked some veg (baby corn, brocolli, cauliflower and mushrooms) Aaron cooked pasta and me and carol did our chicken with capsicum... quite a spread... Year one chinese medics yesterday... it was really really great fun with the jokes (or non jokes in weiyao's case... sigh man... he's malaysian mah.. what do you expect haha) flying ard... statements of nationalism from Ting (he's Taiwanese)... Karl's interpretation of Sing/manglish (He's a BBC.. British born chinese to the ignorant)... max the poker faced joker (perhaps M'sia's saving grace... though he was still FOS)... and most of all... making fun of the length of Ting's 'F***' hahah sounds damn crude... haha but SUPER FARNIE... cos Ting used to DRAG the word out.. so max said it's too si wen... and as the arguement abt china and taiwan got more heated up the F*** got shorter and shorter.. than carol said his F*** is getting better... and then max said... but shorter.. haha... oh my gosh! *gasp* we couldn't stop laughing...
SO lame right? oh well.... must prepare my stomach for the next few days though... madness... utter madness.. with food all round... :)
Tried calling some of you pple in Singapore just now... but no one picked up!:( oh well... HAPPY NEW YEAR either way... will try again tmr lah haha...
something damn stupid happened to me today though... my boots have been giving me trouble for sometime... as i stepped into the med sch building (ironically) this morning... my heel ALMOST came off! once again... slipping for Charlotte haha....sigh... luckily i didn't fall man...
Camped at the Study Landscape (the med sch library... we like to sound cheem? hahaha... as my flatmate Rob said... we don't have to be pompous.. the med sch makes us pompous haha) after my VS today... took a lunch break... went down to byres road for a Subway student deal (6 inch sandwich with a drink and a cookie) then bought a pair of boots at Clarks! haha so yeah.. problem solved... esp since after this morning my heel hasn't stopped aching cos the heel of the shoe is not... functioning properly? haha...
Hmmm... anyway... twas a good day overall... hope i survive all the eating!:)
