Realised i've been dormant for quite a while.... ok lah... one week.... hmmm.... lemme see what happened.....
Finished my PBL in a VERY short time i'm proud to say... on FRIDAY MORNING i had it done haha.... tthen again i stayed up till 2 on thursday to finish the darn questions... but oh well it's always better to finish it earlier....
Had dinner at Siu Kwan's house on Friday... great gathering... nice chat with everyone..... but then TADA!!! Carol falls sick.... has a slight cold whih progresses to more phelgm and wheezing over the next few days and nights... MAN she sounded bad... didn't go to church and fellowship on sunday to make sure she didn't fall over or something drastic/dramatic like that... poor thing.. the cold is really getting to her....
Technically she isn't the only one who is having problems with the cold... i'm having problems myself... the temp has dropped rather drastially lately...i mean SERIOUSLY... it's 0 degrees during the day... you can breathe out and see smoke man... no joke! sigh... oh well... it just means wearing more layers...
Esp since carol is ill now... so i really have to keep warm and take vitamins... eat oranges or whatever... in case i fall ill too!:P
Poor thing... but at least she's better now... no phelgm she says!:P
Anyway... the turning point for carol's illness was on sat night when we went out at night to catch kill bill.... excellent movie i must say.. hilarious is more apt a word... all that blood is SOOOOOOOOOOO unrealistic... but hey whatever floats quentin tarantino's boat! haha... but really not bad... great movie... go catch it if you can!:P but after the movie... carol was seriously looking bad... like she was going o faint on us any minute... was a little worried man....
OH well speaking of fainting... some poor sod fainted during the lecture on friday! haha... i can't believe it... the lecture was on bleeding and shock and it seems that the gory pictures were just too much for him.. i think the pic that did it was a pic of a drill piece through the foot..... some poor sod's mate was downstairs drilling the ceiling... and the drill went right through the ceiling into his foot!
Haha but that's only ONE part of the very memorable lecture... there were actors and all to act out a scene on how to administer 1st aid and what drs should do when they have a patient in A&E with shock... most memorable except i couldn't heard half the words the lecturer was saying.... bad acoustics in the LT lah....
Phew! quite a week huh...
This week isn't much less boring it seems! Having a potluck at my place tonight and made stew with carol... well... carol's timing is really bad today so it was mostly me... which REALLY worries me cos i REALLY hope it turns out well.....
