i think i'm finally assimilating to life in Glasgow... getting used to the freakish weather (you never know when it rains)... getting to know more and more pple and settling into class quite ok... and since my classes are mostly interactive...i think the pple are opening up more and more and we're all getting along just fine... it's really great to see ideas and past knowledge thrown back and forth... synergy is truely a good thing!:P
OH yes... one more thing.... something really funny happened... i got nominated Vice-treasurer of the Glasgow Uni S'pore Society (GUSS)... can you believe it! my gosh... oh yeah btw vice-treasurer only means i'll be treasurer next year since the old commitee is still around haha... auto promotion... oh well... it's a two year job like they say... but i don't mind... was thinking of joining a CCA but didn't know which one... i guess this must be it then!:P
Yeah well... trying to get more involved in fellowship.... probably join a commitee of some kind... see how lah... well i guess the most important thing is to put studies first... which hey... it IS... honestly...i spent my 1st free day of the term STUDYING at home, would you believe?! but i REALLY want to get this right and do my parents proud...
Went to the gym the other day... yes i signed up for the gym... 25 pounds... quite low compared to Strathclyde (another glasgow uni) which is 60 pounds for the whole year.... but apparantly our one off fee is higher... 3 pounds compared to their 1 pound... oh well.... anyhow... went for this class called 'tune up extra' ABSOLUTELY fantastic!:P I love the instructor... she's my new Yoda haha...after Merck of course.... anyway she really made me use muscles i haven't used in a long time haha... was aching for a few days after that though...
okie then can't think of anything much besides the fact that my visa problems are a bit confusing now... oh well... hopefully i can go down to london to do it instantly so they won't have to take my passport away for 13 wks... thus keeping me in glasgow for Christmas!
