got abt half my med books yesterday... GOSH THEY WERE SEVEN KILOGRAMS!!!! dunno how i'm going to lug all that over....
went to get my stethoscope today.. after waiting for kenneth (glasgow batchmate) for like 50 min... but the poor boy got the wrong exit so can't really blame him... who knew that outram park mrthad so many exits.. haha.... A to G... or was it H huh kenneth? haha.... anyway luckily carol (classmate in rj, roommate and batchmate in glasgow) was there early so i had someone to talk to... and aaron was late.... but at least he was earlier than kenneth.... haha... what's up with the guys... the girls seem to be earlier than them...anyhow...
today's stethoscope escapade was quite hilarious... first the kenneth thing... then we realised we should have stopped at chinatown because it was nearer... haha i told carol that but i thought she knew better so i just followed her haha... nvmind.... could take a bus down to outram park mrt anyway so save money!:P must be a stingy poker... or i suspect dear ningsi will scold me.... haha....
so we walked and walked all the way to chin swee estate and there we realised HEY we know the block BUT NO ONE REMEMBERED THE FLOOR haha... so anyhow... thank you kenneth for pointing out that it was on the 2nd floor *beams*... carol and i managed to share a box of gloves... but poor carol only had NETS so now she's indebted to me... hmm... better get the money back...i still need to get the oxford handbook of medicine... and maybe ABC of trauma... MORE WEIGHT!!!! i think i don't have to bring any clothes over... my books will take precedence so there's not enough luggage weight left!:(
anyway after that when i get home and try to sort out all my documents to show the UK immigration...i get a call from roy and he goes... hey charlotte... we still having dinner tonight right? then i thought to myself *CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCRAP* i actually did forget and once again offer my sincerest apologies to my dear mortal haha....
anyway on my way to meet roy at holland v swensens... i got a msg from carol... going on abt how her stethoscope doesn't work! i was like HUH?! stethoscope can don't work meh... so i told her to flip the stethoscope over and use the side with the diaphragm... yes i just learnt that you can use two sides of the stethoscope! haha... the smaller ring for lower freq and the diaphragm (larger ring) for higher freq... but anyway i though it quite funny leh... haha... since carol hasn't msged me back since...i assume all is well!
