HELLO! this is chirpy charlotte even though it's 12:02 in the morning! haha suddenly got very excited abt cooking... dunno why haha....
Anyway for the record... i've made mango mousse.... galician custard squares...and my fav so far.. tomato-orange soup....
Why is it my fav? Cos it's super healthy... no meat... all veges and fruit..and it has a very interesting tangy taste!:) I'm so happy with that one!:) karen i know you're gonna rag on me for this sudden domestication... but what the heck! I'm so proud of my tomato-orange soup... served at my aunt's b-day celebration and it was actually well-received! haha never thought anything i cooked could be well received! haha... *beams perpetually*
ok i'm in a perky mood but this DID come to mind... I have decided on glasgow but my parents want me to wait for NUS to reply...
NUS HELLO?! they reply in june and if i'm sent there... i'll be having no holiday cos my contract with Raffles ends 5 july...i need two weeks notice... so therefore... i think i shall hand in my resignation letter this week and then serve my notice.... then have june free... JUST IN CASE... haha plus there are still tonnes of gatherings i have yet to plan.. my movie marathon which jovine and jiayun will tell you is loooooooooooong overdue....
Was talking to roy on the phone just now and he said he was looking forward to another council gathering... so figured we can have a bbq and a movie marathon at the same time!:) Yes i really hope that one works out...
Another thing i have yet to work out is using the 21st students council website as a more personal website now that the school won't be visiting it anymore.. if at all haha.... anyway... figured we could use the website to keep track of our whereabouts everywhere ard the world... with out most updated addresses and contact numbers! Yes it's a plan.. and i've been thinking abt it for a long time...i even feel like taking up web design JUST to get this idea going!
Ah yes, can you feel the anticipation bubbling over? :) so many ideas and so many things to do... ok now i'm actually excited abt quitting!:) At 1st I figured I'll be so bored at home...but then again i have to tutor my bro... and i have little projects like this website thing... and then gatherings to plan... hey my friends just make me plan cos well i suggested we meet up after not seeing each other for an obscene period of time... haha all this excitement at meeting friends after the joy of meeting my best friend from primary school after 7 years!:) Speaking of which... i've done primary school.... Sec 2 clique gathering coming up.... Sec 4 clique gathering... well i had two cliques back then haha... anyhow... *rubs hands in glee* haha... so evil... beware charlotte the evil dinner planner!:)
Phew! Typing so much so fast like i'm trying to capture the ideas practically flowing out of my head! so many thoughts today.. and for once they're not sad ones!:)
Next thing up for me... my commzd brethern will be happy to know that now i'm editing the church youth newsletter! haha yes well had to stick my hands into that one... had our brainstorming session today... brought back memories of council... all those commzd meetings... assigning who to write what... word limit.... deadlines... haha... ah yes... the good old days...
oh well the bad news of the day... after 19th days of being SARS free... on the 20TH DAY!!!! we have one new SARS case... i think pple are going to queue up just to kill that guy man haha..
another bad news.. the other thing abt nus replying late is that well i might lose my glasgow accomodation.. and trust me when you're set on going somewhere... and you lose basic things like accomodation... that totally SUCKS! Oh well...maybe i should just pay the deposit... i mean at least i get my accomodation NOW and WELL, it MIGHT be an incentive to let my parents send me there anyway... don't waste the deposit money! admittedly i know they want to save money and all... but it's just this gut feeling that i wanna be there... i will just work very very hard and repay them the money when i get out of uni... in fact the fact that the course would cost HALF A MILLION SING DOLLARS is quite a good incentive to work hard....:)
Ah bliss! 23rd council invest is coming up! i'll be happy to see the council again! well .. most of the girls and a few guys at least haha....
*Bubble bubble* i hope i can sleep tonight man! here's an obscure random thought... been putting on weoght since i joined RH (Raffles Hospital)... so i've been walking on the treadmill for 45 min whenever i can ( i say walk cos if i run.. i'll fall off :( a very sad pathetic picture THAT'LL make)... that takes care of the lower half of my body.. i think i'll exercise the upper half by COOKING! haha yes the cooking bug has caught me... this may sound like a very stupid way to exercise.. but seriously... you see the way you have to whip stuff up... haha.... ok i'm mildly insane now... shall go to bed... maybe throw on a little Loreena McKennitt... nice celtic music to soothe my *ahem* raging soul haha..
