ARGH!!! feeling a lil' nervous now that my interview is practically HERE... in abt 2hr 40 min i'll be heading into the interview room... heard they throw the most ridiculous questions at you and I'm hoping i'll be able to handle it... tried prepping myself with my Glasgow interview notes... hope that helps a little.... but at least glasgow gave me topics to chew on.... NUS gave zip... nada... mucho gracias NUS! *rolls eyes* Sigh.. it's probably just nerves talking... Jov thinks I should prep for Why I wanna become a doctor... the SARS situation... my role as a woman in society... and my personal aspirations... Shaun got a question on his weak points... and well... zhenjin apparantly got a question on the greenback and the euro! Ok that is something i DEFINITELY know nuts abt...... oh well.... Elaine says "as long as you're sincere you should be ok" or something to that effect. Shall just pray very hard that when the time comes I won't lose my nerve...

Been clearing my email box recently... reread lots of old emails... esp the council ones when everyone was worried abt scholarships and money! Sigh... with a few of us overseas already... it seems like our time has come too soon! I will surely miss all of you.... I thought it was incredible how lots of pple like limz and zhong lei were so encouraging.... and how we still deliver snippets of our daily lives through the email despite not seeing each other for long periods of time! Hmm.... must resolve to at least write in my blog more... that way I feel strangely connected to my friends cos well I know they'll be reading all this and I'll be reading all their blogs as well!

Sigh.. beginning to ramble.... Think i shall head back to RJ to try and drag my buddy out for a buddy lunch today....

Another thing... I never actually explained why my blog is called crimson bisque...

The word crimson I took from Evanescence's Tourniquet.... there's a line that goes "crimson regret and betrayal"... for me that line represents how the Lord sacrificed Himself for our sins and that really touches me to the core how He shed his blood for us...

The word bisque is just a nice word I came across one day.... then AFTER I named my blog Crimson Bisque... I realised ONE of the meanings of bisque is fired, but unglazed white porcelein...

So ladies and gentlemen, crimson bisque represents fired, but unglazed porcelein forever stained red... it seeks to show the impact that God has made in my life... at the same time... a place to gripe abt everyday life (yes that's where the "fired" comes it... sort of representative of how I've weathered through various difficult things in my life)... and yet at the same time... unglazed... how I am not finished yet... I'm still seeking to live in Jesus' image everyday... goodness knows I've failed with every swear word... every mean word.... sigh... and hopefully one day I'll be "glazed" in God... that I'll be something that He has molded and completed....

Ok, so dramatic right? Oh well you guys KNOW I'm dramatic... or insane.... whichever you think it more apt for me! haha...

So till next time.... ciao!

Crimson Bisque
Seconded by her friends
Hooked after a few blogs
Doomed to express herself
every now and then

Crimson: red
Bisque: White unglazed porcelein
Crimson bisque:
A little rough around the edges,
rather fragile and stained red by the
change Jesus’ death and his blood
has brought about in my life
